Head: The head of a sable ferret is a light white color with a dark "mask" around the eyes.
Body: On their body there is a whitish-yellow underfur, and a dark brown or black gaurd coat(this is the outer coat that is generally darker than the fur underneath it, also it is shinier).
Legs: A sable ferret's legs are a dark dark brown or a black.
Tail: The tail is also a dark brown or black.
Youth: When a sable ferret is still a kit, after about 2 weeks the dark mask will begin to develop telling you that your ferret is going to be a sable ferret.
Random Fact: The sable ferret is the most common coat type for a ferret.
